About the Journal

Kimün is a continuously published interdisciplinary journal on teacher education that aims to contribute to the ongoing professional development of the educational community and to continuously foster environments conducive to the development, publication, and dissemination of knowledge.

 

The name Kimün means, in the Mapuche language, knowledge, wisdom, and learning; it represents the following objectives: To promote the democratization of scientific knowledge as a pillar of teacher education and as a driving force in the search for better alternatives, viewing knowledge as a collective endeavor.
